| Always fun to watch when that happens - unless it's against your own team - nah it's still funny even then.

| He was good, but no Ryan Sheridan.
Just ask Danny Peacock.

Didn't Mike Kuiti once nick one from Paul Harkin from a scrum at HQ? I remember finding that one very funny. I loathed Harkin, even (possibly especially) when he played for us.

| That's correct, it was Kuiti's first try in the blue and amber. It came on his Leeds debut (Jan 1990) where he scored two and set Norman Francis up for the other in a MOTM performance highlighting the 13 - 8 win. The ball steal/intercept was down the blind side at a scrum as Harking tried to get Graham Mackay into his stride when Kuiti popped up with ball in hand to go over in the North-West corner with the Bradford scrum-half left chasing shadows.
Seven days earlier Harkin had ruled Headingley in a Challenge Cup Preliminary round victory over Leeds and was a regular pain in Leeds' side most notably when turning out for Bradford or Hull KR - the trip on Tony Currie at Elland Road aside - and we still couldn't beat them.

| Paul Dixon was the best ball-stealer I've seen, both for and against Leeds.

Quite correct , what's more he used to do it on a regular basis.
If my memory serves me well, I believe he was a farmer from out Halifax way.

| TVOC - I miss your regular updates and stats on here! So to give you some work to do...
Did Sinfield end the year in 5th place in the all time points scoring list? And I am I right in thinking he'll move into 4th in leeds appearances in2014, injuries permitting?

| According to this year's handbook, Sinfield is 5th in the all-time scorers chart with 3690.
3rd and 4th are both in reach, being Risman with 4050 and Woods with 3985. He's no chance of 2nd, which is Sullivan with 6022.
TVOC may have different figures. The Yearbook isn't always accurate.

Yes, 3rd is clearly as high as he will go. I'd go as far as saying those top two will never be caught. It is highly unlikely

| This thread is being sadly neglected this year!
Off the top of my head we've missed JP's 500th game, Burrow's 400th game, McGuire's 200th try and Sinfield reaching another point milestone (not exactly sure what).
We should be celebrating these milestones as it may be any years before a core of players ever achieve such things together again.

I believe Ablett, Hall and Kirke have all hit the 200 game mark and Watkins the 100 mark so far this season. Sinfield passed the 3,500 point mark (currently 3,556)
Upcoming,
Bailey 300 games (currently 298 so could be vs Wigan next Friday)
Peacock 250 for Leeds (currently 236)
Hardaker 100 (currently 89)
Burrow is on 977 points
A bit further back and probably next season
McGuire 350 (currently 329)
Sinfield 500 (currently 474)
These are from the Leeds Rhinos website so other people might have different figures.

I wonder if Sinfield will get to second in the appearance list behind John Holmes? I think Fred Webster is on 543.He would need two seasons after this one

| By my reckoning, Sinny's 12 points yesterday puts him on 3800 career points.
4th place in the all-time list is certainly within reach this season.

A rare RL article in this weeks Sunday Times features Leeds and is headed "Senior servants stimulate Leeds" It was all about the "golden generation" at Leeds continuing to set records. It mentioned JP's career 500th & Rob Burrow's 400th, Sinny's passing 3500 points, McGuire notching up his 250th try. It had quotes from the key players and from coach Brian McDermott who cited the importance of long-serving conditioner Jason Davidson and physio Andy Barker.
