| Outstanding in those circumstances. What a way to see JJBs interim period out and welcome in the new coach. Hopefully 2 weeks to build with players returning. Some pride being restored and JJB must earn a lot of credit for galvanising them.

Agree mate.
That is a very unexpected, welcome and hard earned win.
Well done to the boys.

| Odd, prior only did about 30 mins didn't he?
Rohan Smith must be feeling a little lighter as he heads off next week.

There’s a lot to build on from the last two wins, could easily have been 24 nil that, gutted for Simpson for that disallowed try

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Thought we'd have you're number tonight but completely deserved two points for you.
We weren't great but that wasn't why we lost, you were better and your play stifled us.
Bloody Leeds!

JJB must be a happy man. Outstanding effort on show. Thought Martin was great in the centres. All the forwards did well, including the much maligned Thompson. Young lads will have learned so much. We wanted it more than them tonight.

| I’d retain Martin, another year. Dwyer I’d let go, as long as we have confidence in Johnson’s fitness and retain O’Connor as third hooker unless we have another kid ready to step up.
Dwyer is an enigma, he can do great things with the ball especially close to their line, but he’s a momentum killer and often chooses the wrong option.

19722.gif Woody: Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?
Norm: A little early, isn't it Woody?
Woody: For a beer?
Norm: No, for stupid questions.:19722.gif |

| Great win. Feels like we are moving in the right direction. Despite only scoring 2 tries, both from kicks we looked a lot more threatening with the ball and asked plenty of questions of the HKR defence. We seemed to grow in confidence as the game went on. The "try" late on where I think Handley was in touch, was a brilliant handling move that I'm not sure we would have tried a few weeks ago.
One swallow doesn't make a summer but that was impressive tonight considering the players missing.

| Cant fault that effort. Thought we was much the better team tonight and swarmed all over them most of the night.
Discipline, defence and spirit has improved greatly last few weeks.
Very proud of young kids. Defended magnificently. Thought Bodene went well actually. Mik immense, Prior much improved. Austin made a difference. Broadbent very good at the back.
People will probably say attack was poor but i thought we moved the ball well especially 1st half but then ruined it with wrong option at the end.
Pleased with that tonight. Really good win. Lets hope returnees play with similar spirit and discipline.
The future is bright.

Agree with all of the above especially about Dwyer you can't have a player who handles the ball more than anyone else who as you say takes the wrong option plus is probably up there with the worst passes from dummy half.A number nines main job is to give quick accurate ball to the first receiver this is where Dwyer is lacking.Johnson for mine is our best passer from dummy half.
