Ellery Hanley. Didn't like him at Wigan or Leeds. Remember him pushing David Creaser back down when in stopped play Creaser tried to grab him to get up after either a broken jaw or dislocated shoulder. Hanley looked at him like he was a piece of poop and shrugged him away. Didn't think he was that good a player either to be honest!

There's people on the giants forum talking about this and it was mentioned in Rugby league world magazine. Would be great for a year If we could get brough. Opinions would change on him when/if he puts on the blue n amber IMHO.

Maybe a quality player,but still has the ability to get on your wick.For me he just doesn't have that Danny Mags x-factor when it comes to big games and the chips are down!Doesn't seem to come up with those magic plays.

I think Danny has shown up in plenty of big games and produced huge plays when it really matters - the winning try in 2004 and "that" kick against Huddersfield a just couple of examples

I'm sure Dwayne D would agree - he was remarking how Brough compared unfavourably with McGuire for making those type of plays.
