Did Leeds wanna win the CC? Yes, obviously, all the teams did.
The playoff system suits Leeds, with an old team they couldn't perform consistantly week in/week out and win the league, they've proven that time after time, and this season they were smacked by a younger better team (Wigan) who knocked them out.

You won the CC by default. Any top 4 team would have won with that cup run. It was the icing on the cake that in the final wigan played poorly, but hull could barely get to tackle 2 without making an unforced error. It must have been the easiest run in rugby league history.
