diskin has been brilliant, a lot better player than lots ever gave him credit for. he was robbed of man of steel in 2004.
however his best days are behind him although i'm sure he will have a big game against us next season.'"
Not been the same player since he got injured after breaking into GB set up IMO

Not on his own.
How many did Kirke win, or Bailey?
He was MoM in 2004 but not in any subsequent finals. As you well know.
A valuable member of the team along with 16 others.

Funny how these things turn out and to see posters moving up and down the 'insider' credibility order often with unexpected results.'"
Indeed sir.
However the cynical view is that the OP has flung so much crap around during his tenure here that some of it has indeed hit its mark, thus moving him up the rankings so to speak.
IF you take that view of course.

| With Diskin giving some quality service to Ian Sibbit I'd put Bulls right up there with Wigan as title favourates.

Seems like the Bulls are going through a Nathan McAvoy, Shane Millard, Mark O'Neill, or Ben Cross type phase of utterly desperate, embarrassing, ridiculous and uninspiring signings.

| Ben Cross as in the starting NRL prop? Isn't the NRL meant to be super-dupa-superior to Super League?

| I've got to admit I'm a bit disappointed now. I thought he was quite good but reading all the Rhino comments it seems he's a bit pants. who'd have thought it. why doesn't someone start a good raddiance thread.

| He's 28 FFS
You signed Peacock from us at the same age.
Diskin still has so much to offer the game and IMO it's a massive loss to Leeds.
A sign of the times that the power once again is slowly heading towards Odsal, just like it went to Headingley in 2007.

| I like Diskin, but this is really NOT the sign that power is shifting to Odslum.
If you signed Inglis, Slater and Marshall I would still have my doubts

Comparing Diskin to Peacock or Lowes is ridiculous. It's more like when Leeds signed Paul Harkin.

it's more of a Newton signing not like lowes or peacock to Leeds but noway as bad as reardon back to Bradford
It's a good solid signing.

26414.jpg *Insert witty banter type comment*:26414.jpg |

| Reading some of the comments I hate to say it but I dont think its a big loss to Leeds at all. It does create a hole, but a hole that can be filled by a young kid with bags of enthusiasm and determination, something I think Diskin has lost with Leeds.
Maybe i'm been naive but I think Diskin and Leeds just doesnt work anymore. What with Buderus coming into the setup, Disko lost his way a little when Buderus was fit. I hope hand on heart Diskin goes to the Bulls and rediscovers what he really has in the locker.
My overall opinion is as thus, ok we have let him go but we now have the chance to bring a youngster through. Buderus was a must keep as yes i know Diskin has done well, Buderus will be the teacher for the new upstarts in McShane and Hood and you cant look past that. Look at when we brought Connolly in to help mathers. Did wonders with him. We have to take a risk and one player doesnt and shouldnt make a team!
