I would have thought it would make some difference as long as the discount was enticing enough, as i believe that fans thinking theyre not getting value for money from a CC game is a big factor. Hence the only half-decent crowds at semi finals when youre virtually guarenteed a relatively tough opposition.
Im not saying it would mean we'd get 15,000 against Workington but may increase the crowds a little and may guard against the embarrassment of stadiums being half empty the only time RL gets on the BBC.
