The pack is really struggling now without oledszki (shoulder, gulp...)this week and no return of Holroyd.

And its exactly what we all feared, losing two front line props and we're looking very light in the pack.

We didn’t get dominated at prop as such but Donno and Bentley were dominated. Contrast Tariq Sims with Bentley. Rest my case.

In fairness any side losing their first two props would see them looking light. Bar wigan maybe.

Makes Thursday a tough task now id like to see TNW rewarded for his pre season performances

Yep this sucks badly. We are going to have to play TNW and possibly get Ruan involved too.

Going into the season we were always over reliant on one pack leader in Oledszki, this situation has come to the forefront much earlier than feared. As you say with everything crossed its nothing serious .

Hopefully Mik Oledzki shoulder injury isn't a serious one we can't afford to lose him for a long period of time especially with Holroyd still out as well. Wouldn't surprise me if he's picked that injury up from that awkward tackle he got when he was flipped on his neck was very dangerous from the 3 Salford tacklers.

I don't think we'll throw Nicholson-Watton in and I do think Ruan is ahead of him Sangare will be needed this week definitely and hopefully he puts his weight about because we do look light in the pack with Mik & Holroyd and Hudson missing.

True, though for us we put a lot of faith in Holroyd as our number 2 who still hasnt proved much and has an inconsistent playing record. Thats the real problem.

Thats what id go with but I think Bentley will be in there

McDonnell is back so i hope that goes someway to making sure Donaldson doesnt start there as that starting front row brings me out in hives, for a variety of reasons.

RS is quite loyal to Donaldson and Bentley and for me, when we have injuries, selection becomes really key. Wet conditions will mean some graft down the middle so I’d pick as physically big a pack as we reasonably can. We have enough in the backs to win games as long as the forwards give a platform.
