| Quote: Jrrhino "Well that first half had Mr contemplating weather I made the right choice to watch some RL in -2, degrees. But can't take away that second half performance some really nice stuff in there. Think Fusitu'a has taken a hammering on this forum last few weeks and don't think it's be warranted. He's superb at diffusing high kicks and is in the top 3 wingers in returning the ball in yardage carries for me. He took his tries well tonight and assisted Newman with a tap down from Kick as well. Thought both Newman & Bentley had very solid returns got through game unscathed I believe and both had some very good moments. Sezer & Austin looking better & better each week & i'm glad we're finally seeing their kicking game on last tackle plays we scored our first 2 tries from great cross field kicks from Austin.Think our team is starting to click & Gel and Rohan is doing a outstanding job and hopefully we can keep pushing on. Only downside tonight Ash Handley looked to pick up a leg injury hopefully not too severe & Cam Smith had a bit of late hit on Lino which he may get into a bit of bother for. Great win & hopefully we can get another job ticked off against Cas Next week. MOT'"
Fusitu'a MOM for me. Ran the ball straight and hard (as always) but actually got some decent ball on the left wing and made his tries look very easy. Lisone looked the cannonball prop I'd hoped he might be although he did come on against a tiring pack. The week off did him good. Like the look of McDonnell. No flash to him, but really solid and can beat a man. Sezer looked a threat when he ran the ball.

| Tale of two halves really.
First half utterly forgettable
Second half we we’re really good, we start to look like we’re getting up to speed. Lisone looked better and turned the game IMO.
Newman didn’t do much but what he did was all class, hope he can stay fit because he is the real deal

They really are sore
Do title contenders fail to score points for the third week running? How can you put 26 points past a team without return and make them look good?
Best team in the world losing two on the bounce to soft opposition is what they are actually upset about. Maybe they should concentrate on their own game and stop scrutinising ours.

Well what they consider to be soft opposition.... but clearly neither were that soft.

| Glad Fusitu'a listened to the criticism I ave him and picked up his game.....
Performances are likely to continue to be patchy for a while as combinations get going and players come and go. Picking up points is the main thing, so we don't need a miracle run later in the year. Also just getting that relegation dogfight off the agenda will nice for a change....

| Think it’s all been said, with Handley injured I guess the back line picks itself. A couple of Cas fans I know were surprised we signed Olpherts. He seems to make 1 poor error a game, hopefully he can keep it to one or less next week at Cas.

| Wakey huffed and puffed but looked clueless for large parts of that game.
The fact we continually ballsed up our chances certainly kept them in the game but as soon as we got ourselves going we were far too good.
Side note, anyone else get massive “Willie Mason at HKR” vibes on Proctor? He was absolute gash, if I was a Wakey supporter id be furious with that non appearance.

| I've never rated Proctor. He was always average in a great Melbourne side and was never impressive for New Zealand. He's only at Wakey for one last pay day, and because no other club would touch him with a bargepole.

| Think people are being harsh on Proctor. You don’t have an NRL and international career like his unless you are quality. Look how long it’s taken Tetevano to settle!

| Nah. Proctor's been phoning it in for a few years now. He's one of those players everyone notices because of his hair, but he really has been ordinary for quite a while.

Bear in mind the current Wakey team would make JP in his prime look rubbish!
