I've heard we've signed Rapira. From the two posts above, anyone else heard this?

I know we have our 2 senior props finishing up at seasons end so every prop on and around the market will be linked to Leeds. I have no source. I speculate it's Leeds based on the first sentence of my post.

He's a bit injury prone and would of probably been a squad player more than anything.
If he'd of come here he'd of probably been placed in front of Singleton on the bench. I don't think he'd of been a starting prop infront of JP or Cuthbertson. So at the end of the day we'd of signed an injury prone prop and stifled a young prop. A young prop who is at the moment having his best season in my opinion

Mossop will often give away an error at just the wrong point in a game - he did it again at Headingley on Friday.

Id be somewhat ambivalent to Rapira, he isn't a great player but is probably better than Kylie at his peak, almost certainly better than Kylie now.

Kylie however was a bit of a bargain, Rapira still has a bit of a name so will probably be wanting a fair amount more than we got Kylie for.

Rapira was great a few years ago - one of the best props in the world. Don't know exactly what's happened to him over past couple of years but it looks like a Stuart Fielden situation where he burns bright young with an all-out game but suffers for it in injuries and effectiveness when he should be at his peak. However, like Fielden after his decline, he could probably still do a job without being a star.

Slightly O/T but does anyone know how Baldwinson has been going at Fev?

Lets hope he turns out to be more of a Jason Cayless than a Josh Perry.

Would anyone else be looking at bringing Dan Smith back from Wakefield?
Seems like he's turning into a good young prop, and his contract is up at the end of the year i think.
