| I'm not sure that's true, of the current second row options we've produced one, Gannon. And of the props, Oledszki, Holroyd and TNW.
Sinfield and McCormack look as good a bet to make the grade as we've seen in a long time.

Fergus McCormack looks like a real prospect, best I've seen for quite a while in the halves.
I think Sinfield will learn loads in the next two years as Frawley's understudy

Not me, I don't rate him, seems to always be moaning and blaming everyone else but himself when the chips are down, not sure those qualities are great for a coach to instil into players

Cut from the same cloth as Powell, dreadful coaches.

| Good luck to Burgess hope he does ok however for me the risk involved in a three year deal on what is probably top 5 players in the superleague level money is too great. He has a big body and not many of his frame can play to 36 he's a different type of prop to JP. In terms of where we would be taking the money from in the cap I think its a risky investment.
We can talk about the merits of our back row but yhey were all 1 and 2 year extensions. The money Burgess is getting over three years would impact new contracts for our current crop of youngsters as they develop. I have more of an issue with us not going for the likes of Eseh which was financially possible. In all probability another prop will come in next year if Martin goes and if TNW kicks on we will look better balanced.

I think Ruan will emerge as a prop this year also.

| Just read an article on Ned McCormack. He was a winger / full back in union but currently playing at centre in league. Do people see that as his long term position or is he likely to move position as he gets more experience in league?

| Sounds like Tom Burgess will be the highest paid player in Super League next year, Sam saying that Warrington could not get close to Hudds offer.

I was talking about halves but jack Smith has just as much potential to make it, those outside back positions are going to get squeezed if they all fulfill that potential.
