Even if we win the rest if our games there's no evidence we're a top 4 side without further strengthening. Even if they lose a player or two to the NRL sts will be strong, hull have strengthened, wire will have Widdopp and Wigan have Hastings.

There's a fair gap between those 4 and the rest. Without more than just Mellor I can't see us getting into that group.

As is the assumption that the upturn in form is due to the response from the fans. It’s down to hard work from the coaches and the players plus some good signings from the management.

Well today results have gone are way in terms of pulling away from the bottom, but any hopes of the 5 have now gone. We are as good as safe now as we pretty much have to lose all our game and the bottom four all have to win at least 3 games each for them all to over take us, Mathematically not safe but in real terms we are safe, we need to keep kicking on and build confidence for a real top 5 push for next year.

We are 6 points off 5th place with 8 points still up for grabs. While it’s mathematically possible our season is still alive, that has to be our aim, even if it’s likely we’ll come up short.

whatever happens it would be good to finish the year with a wet sail, couple more real quality signings from somewhere, and a full pre-season for our crocked and new players to gel.

We should be a different proposition next year, depending on these last missing piece players.
