| I agree with Brisbane. It's difficult to properly judge us until we get some power back in the middle of the park, and consistent go forward.
Myler has been outstanding in every game hesplayed IMO apart from the last quarter of the last 2 games, and I think a half like Moon partnering him suits him. He's at his best when he's the main pivot. Saying that, Moon was poor yesterday, and as BR suggested, I think he should concentrate on running the ball andkicking up and unders, his passing isn't up to much, so leave it to the people who can.
I also think it'd help if we had a full back with a better passing game to take some of the responsibility off Moon

The only problem with that is we become way too predictable. Shut Myler down, shut Leeds down because we have no other threat with ball in hand whatsoever or anybody else we are able to go to, to keep the opposition guessing. I totally agree with your summary of Myler, he has certainly exceeded my expectations so far, but i feel we made need a little bit more when we get to the business end.we will see

| The duration of a team warning is always something subjective - as far as I am aware, there isn't a set time limit for it. Obviously, if a team concedes another penalty with a minute or two of the team warning, the referee is going to give a yellow card but does it end after 5 minutes? 10 minutes?

This is the grey area, it is at the referee's discretion.

| My only worry with myler for drop goals is that he doesn't seem to strike the ball cleanly which you can see in his conversions. I've been impressed in game particularly the partnership with Watkins but the drop goal situation is something to think about.
I do think we miss walker any idea of whens back?
Also you can see the influence of garbutt is also missed. I know McDermott said we are not rushing into getting an prop but I think we need to get somebody in to take the load off.

| Apparently Myler has only ever kicked 1 drop goal in his entire career.

| Quote: Gotcha "Do you not understand what a team warning is, and the purpose? Because you seem to really be struggling with the concept.
When it happens in other games, penalty given for offence, and player binned, do you cry out then that they are penalised twice? I am pretty sure you don’t, because that is the point, one is a penalty for the offence, the other is a team punishment for not adhering to the warning.
Same thing last night, the try was given for the offence. The point is the team were on a warning, and as a result the team should have been punished for it.
As I keep saying it is incorrect interpretation of the rules by the officials. Otherwise the rules would state, team warnings do not come into effect in the instance of a penalty try.'"
I haven't swallowed the team warning part of the rule book but I dont think its as cut and dried as you make out. We were on a team warning for a run of penalties of interfering at the ptb. Just because you are on a team warning it doesnt mean any penalty has to be binned. What if you are marginally offside chasing an attacking kick for example? That would be incredibly harsh. Bowden's was a very different offence to the others that had brought about the warning. It was a desperate lunge to attempt to prevent a try at a crucial moment in the game. I have no issue with the penalty try. But in situations like that it has to be at the discretion of the ref, and I don't think any ref would have produced a card for that.

It's basically until the referee is happy that the team on a warning has made enough effort to clean up their act. Totally at their discretion, but I would guess as a rule of thumb if you are squeaky clean for 4 or 5 defensive sets it will be lifted.

Be more effective if refs just binned every third person caught ar$ing about in the ruck, interfering or lying offside, say.

| I was less than impressed with Handley.
Is Sutcliffe still injured? If not he should be back in the centre next week.

| Yep, Sutcliffe is out for a few weeks. Peteru and Singleton are the only players with a chance of returning next week.

| Played predominantly rubbish but still lost by only one point to Hull away, who themselves acted like they'd won a Grand Final.
Go figure.
