If we're talking Brit, I'd be looking at Sneyd rather than Gale. Although if we don't add firepower up front first there's no halfback pairing that'd be an unqualified success.

If Cas are short of money tell them they can keep Gale and we will take Junior Moors and Millington off them because they are what we badly need in our pack.

I think we've probably passed the point now where we're going to sign a young-ish, decent level prop on a 3 or 4 year contract, so I'd take Moors or Millington for a couple of years to tide us over until the less beneficial contracts run their course and we can get shot.

I don't think Mullally is as bad as some make out. He should be able to do more minutes on the field, and have a bit more impact for a man of his size, but I like his unorthodox style and ability to win penalties in the ruck. He's also not so bad at scoring the odd short-range try. If his attitude is good I've no problem with keeping him for another year. Let's see what Furner can do with him...
