No mate, no cross or clarky in the 19, burgess and kirke are tho, and all the players involved in the eng vs exiles could back up. I suppose he may call clarkson in depending on how the players are shaping up.

The club have confirmed there is no injury and given some of the recent performances you'd have thought he could/should have been brought in if nothing else to freshen things up.

When he has played IMO he's looked much better than Hauraki who went through an identical 'sabbatical' and has been 'forgiven' recently so perhaps there is a disciplinary reason for his continued none selection that the club refuse to give details about?

If there is no disciplinary reason for his continued none selection then I hope any potential NRL signings we might be looking at/near to agreeing terms for next season don't ring Cross for an opinion on us as i'm sure he won't be given them/us a glowing endorsement

I've got no problem with players backing up, that said Jp has just come back so two games in one weekend i think is too much.

The thing is mc has options in the forwards he just doesn't seem to want to use them

I don't have a particular problem with players backing up but the two forwards in question and I agree with you on jp and Julie isn't the fittest bloke to ask to back up. Just thought cross might have been an option.

On hauraki I agree both he and cross haven't set the world on fire but I think cross was the lesser of 2'evils.

The lack of selection of Cross and Clarkson, but the continued selection of other forwards who are simply not cutting it, confirms to me that the more BMD is proven to be picking the wrong players, the more stubborn he becomes and continues to do it.

Giving people a chance to atone for their errors is one thing, but sticking by players who continually fail to make enough metres is a totally different one...

Hull KR to win by 10. We've gotten into a decent run of form and I'm very optimistic for this one

A very good win and decent performance considering the conditions and where we are confidence wise.
Hauraki was very good ,Smithy looked like a natural LC with his winger Hall getting a hat-trick and Bailey was deserved M.O.M.
Some great desire shown defensively and when people see the highlights some great tries were scored.
Does it paper over any cracks?
Absolutely not , what it does show is what 99% of us knew in that this team/squad is capable of better than what's been shown over the last couple of weeks but still does'nt disguise the need for more quality to be added because HKR are no where near top 6 material let alon top 4.
Felt a bit sorry for Webby he made some awful errors but did also have 1 or 2 assists.
