to be honest I actually thought GIANTS were a decent bet for the title,but they are going through a bad patch just like we were then.I do hope they dont sink into oblivion only for another hopeful club to emerge.However it nice to not see our usual Huddersfield trolls disappear and join the others we have cast aside over the last 10 years,Mick Gledhill etc  |

I've found only this so far:
The original proposition was that when Huddersfield were riding high and had hammered us at HQ you pointed out I'd always been dismissive of Huddersfield. We were at a low ebb at the time and perhaps I was wrong to be so and Leeds should look in envy at them.
I pointed out they had won nothing yet and suggested however poorly we were doing we would win another trophy at some point before they next did.
Right now I see nothing in Huddersfield that makes me think they're a better team than us. Just as I didn't in July.

Our defence Friday was shocking and we were poor for majority of the game.
I am surprised we got as close as to been just 1 score behind, didn't think the forward passes would be a factor but in the end they were.
However let me stress the best team on the night won and any other result would have been an injustice.
Will see you all again next year

Just a shame for you that "Big Eorl" only decided to turn up for about five minutes a half. Struggling to remember him making a contribution to be honest. The next couple of drives after the "discussions" with Bailey he ran straight at Ryan who calmly put him to ground with minimal fuss.
The four best props on the park on Friday were all wearing blue and amber IMO. |

Not only was the Pudding AWOL most of the game when he ran at Clarkson on our own try line he folded like a soggy card-board box when the young gun hit him. |

Thought that was a cracking tackle and like to think it was more to do with the ability of clarkson rather than big shirley being poor |
