I think he needs good coaching. He didn't get that at Leeds & he won't under Radford. Strange signings from Hull with him & Dawson.

Interesting times ahead for Hull. Without getting into the nuts and bolts of the arguments that occurred on here about who had the worst season, they were poor mid-end last year and I don't think signings like these two will address that.

Agreed. I think there are similarities with the 'coaching' of Leeds & Hull. Both McD & Radford strike me as motivators & man-managers but cannot coach, particularly, structured attacking play. Leeds & Hull have been blessed with cracking playing squads who have not been the sum of their individual parts. While Leeds have lost their creative nucleus Hull have continued to under-perform with a top 4 squad.

These two players haven't been brought in for our first 17, they will be some depth should we get the same kind of injury numbers as last year, where we played kids that were just not ready to be playing 20 SL games. They will bolster our reserve grade, and hopefully provide some adequate rotation at times in the season
