| Pitts had good potential. He was struggling to cement a place in our team and was a squad player. Good athletic player could go either way and bite us or not.
Good luck to him. He is a good athletic player with a good engine and gets through some work. Would think he will need to bulk up alot to prop. Seems to get pushed back easy

Of course you're sure ... No need to play dumb.
So far in the pecking order Kirke has seen off Ambler, Amor and now Pitts..... Singleton is prob not far away from being next.
.... And so Kirke keeps marching on ... Yippee

| Thought he made a good contribution in the Cas game, and looked to offer a bit more dynamism than Clarkson and Kirke at this stage of the season. So I am a bit disappointed about this. That said he's not in the category of Watkins, Hardaker or Ward...
The timing suggests one of two things - a) this is reconciliation after the Briscoe affair - or b) Leeds need the cap space to pick some of the more promising bones out of Bradford's (?impending) carcass.

| Leeds CEO takes an opportunity to get the wage bill down ..... shocked.
____________
To clear up any confusion from earlier posts Jay Pitts made 27 1st grade appearances for Leeds in total, Garreth Carvell made 4.

| I liked the prospect of Pitts but he was down as 6th choice in the 2nd row so at 22, as a player, you would be wanting game time and good luck to him at Hull. Im sure he will be a solid player in time for them.
Someone mentioned Elima earlier in this thread. Harrigan likes this and if that did come off would be happy. The most underrated second row forward in the league and for me, is in the top 10 playing in England.

Of course you're sure
He does. He has a role to do and he does it. Pitts may not have been happy with his role, and as a relative youngster I would say he needs to be playing. Fair play to him.

He makes a lot of ground and scores a few tries, the problem with him is is that he's a full on penalty machine!
In 2009 he was the most penalised player in the competition, in 2010 he was 4th!
Could do without players like him when we already have our fair share of hot heads.

With Leeds' mixed gender dance force shaking their relative bits they could make a move for Super Leagues premier Gentle Giant.
