I appreciate that, but had Cas been kicked out you'd have to think the final could have ended 100-0 to Leeds, and that's no good for one of your big days in the year when you're trying to grow a sport and market it as competitive. It was accepted as an error - albeit one a club shouldn't make - so disqual would have benefited no-one.

Scored some fine tries, and a great effort overall.

It was a realistic ruling which followed the rules for dealing with mistakes like that. No-one in the sport is getting outraged about it, including anyone at Wakey.

Yep. Right decision in my view. The women’s game is essentially an emerging sport still with only very few participants, why throw the baby out with the bathwater over what is essentially an administrative error. Players cheat regularly on the pitch but we don’t advocate throwing their club out of the competition for it.
