By which time they'd be leading by 60 or so.

| A poor choice of game by Sky, staged on a poor choice of date. Anyone would think they were deliberately trying to drive down the value of the product.

| Could be a bad time to play London. After the embarrassing challenge cup display there has to be some sort of reaction from the players

True. It was just such a poor excuse for a rugby game, if I had been playing I would be embarrassed and looking to at least perform better. Could go either way though. Surley they will be one of the teams dropping out of SL

| Anything less than 40-50 point winning margin, would be a disappointment against that tripe.

| I'm sure London are ecstatic at having their home fixture against a club with one of the better travelling followings moved to a week night...

As opposed to being moved from a week night?
IIRC wasn't the original meant to be a Monday night?

Can't see it.
If they couldn't 'get up' for their last significant game of the season last weekend, what's the chances?
They were a disgrace at Headingley earlier in the season (Leeds were only in second gear throughout but they were winning so did what they needed to do) as they were content to keep the scoreboard down when they were around 30 down with 20 to play. In the last 20 minutes on last tackle plays in our half they twice drilled the ball into touch and lazed over to scrum, rather than some form of attacking play/kick. Pathetic.

| There's never a bad time to play London... They really are terrible. They strike me as a clube in a complete mess.

| Hopefully, the removal of all those SL mediocrity licences next season may result in a renewed enthusiasm and competitive approach to the game by whipping boy SL rabble clubs like London.
The prospect of relegation just might stir them into action to a degree where they might actually contemplate giving it a go as opposed to lying down dead and not giving a toss.
However, that's next season (assuming they'll still be around long enough to be bothered) so I guess we'll have to write-off Thursday's fixture as yet another waste of time just like so many regular season SL fixtures of this current era.

Should be a fun run out for us - we've not had many games this year where we've been able to throw the ball around at will. I'd like to see us rack up a good score and build some confidence throughout the team.
It's a waste of time for London, yes.

Was it? Oh, well, so long as ter's been no net increase in stupidity it probably doesn't matter.
I think there'll be some sort of reaction from the Broncos to last week's drubbing, but not enough to win the game.
