I thought the Bog Brushers were on top form last night - very vocal, some great chants and well behaved (apart from the cockend who thought it was a good idea to lob a bottle of beer at Bailey).

Although I suspect that on Wednesday morning someone is going to walk out of their stationary cupboard at work saying "who the fekk has had all the receipt rolls?".

Listen, credit where credits due, we toed the line and were battered by a very clinical and ruthless side who were bang on form with a point to prove. Any genuine Leeds fan will tell you the same, we were nowhere near you last night, faster, fitter, stronger you name it. Last night was last seasons Catalan game, our own indiscipline gave you easy yards that you really punished us for.

Sometimes a harsh lesson is needed, last night we got one. The bar has been set, it's up to us to get past it.

Somwhere near that bar of structure and intensity would be nice.

That is the culture that he and Maguire have built at Wigan. Attention to detail, make sure you do the basics, and then play intense rugby league with a structure with multiple dummy runners. Last night they didn't even need the star quality of Tomkins, O'Loughlin etc. But rest assured it's there when they need it, plus Hock to come back into the fray.
