Does it make Widnes any less of an iSore?

No, that sort of advanced thinking isn't while chapter 6.
Chapter 2 is entitled "How to spend millions reducing your ground's capacity." Topics covered include "Releasing a much bigger/better design in the bumf that goes out with the season tickets than the design that's actually getting built" and of course "Employing a sh[ii[/it coach to ensure your new reduced capacity ground isn't over full".

At least Gawwy's progressed from Chapter 1 which covers 'allowing season ticket holders one ticket per person to show-piece finals in order to annoy loyal fans and divert potential revenue to other sources.'

| This is the company that are providing the pitch surface - rlhttps://www.dessosports.com/en/home/rl
These are the guys that do the system called GrassMaster, which is what we are getting at Headingley (soon?) and is used all over now, Wembley, Emirates etc and of course we played on it at the Keepmoat last weekend. This is real grass reinforced with synthetic grass and is used for football, NFL, Rugby and seem to the be the choice for most modern pitches these days (I suspect Salford, Saints will be having this in their new stadiums).
They do a full artificial pitch specially for Rugby called... Rugby Pro (not i-pitch!!!) but it looks like this has only been so far used for training pitches but this could be the stuff they have at Leigh East?

| The upside for Widnes is that they will be allowed to train on the pitch once they go full time as they don't have off-site training facilities IIRC.
Currently they're only training on it once a week in order to preserve the surface.

| If it is like Leigh East's then I don't see how they can have it being used as a 7 a-side fairyball pitch during the week. The lines came on East's already printed. I can't see a 'pro' RL team wanting to play on a pitch that has 101 other markings on it and is something reminiscent of a council run sports hall.

Argh, that would explain why they are not opting for GrassMaster then if they intend to train and play on the same pitch all year round.

Maybe, and they will also have "isoles" on the bottom of their boots (and in the stands when the Wigan visit).

| Anyone know what type of artificial pitch has just been installed at Kirkstall? All I know is it's not grass.
