| Quote Revol="Revol"...would you welcome them?'"
Perhaps but I doubt the RFL would and they have rather more say in the matter.
Even as a hypothetical question, Hunslet being awarded a SL licence anytime in the forseeable future is a little on the far-fetched side.

| Would love to see them in super league as Leeds has more rugby league supporters than any other city in the UK. It’d do what HULL KR did to Hull when they got promoted to super league.

| There aren't enough people with enough disposable income living south of the river to support such a club any more. Its an industrial wasteland, we sacked it decades ago and left it to the indigents.

Completely different scenario mate due to the size of the fan base, investment etc etc.

So which half trillionaire Abu Dhabi royal family member is ready to take over Hunslet?

| It won't happen. The club is on it's ar$e. They'd have gone bust had they been admitted in 1998/9 even if neither of their fans can see their rejection as anything other than Hetherington's work.
Asking whether Bramley would be welcomed is a more valid question than asking about Hunslet.

Oh Sh*t, as well as the postcode test I now find I fail the snobbery test too.
I wish Wakey would hurry up & build their ground so that I can transfer my bandwaggoning to them.

Man City had a large stadium, crowds of 20k-ish, even in the lower divisions and some fairly large financial resources to get back into the top flight, and then a nice new stadium and subsequent huge private investment to start to move them upwards. Hunslet have an average attendance of about 103, play in the middle of an athletics track on a council-owned leisure centre and probably have a turnover that your average city centre burger van would be disappointed with.
I don't see it happening.

| I can't ever get excited about the propsect, as in the 24 years I've followed Leeds, they've always been an irelavance. I don't even see games against them as a proper Derby.
Although, going to watch Leeds play them at Elland Road was my first ever 'away' game. I remember being shocked at the ridiculous amount of fences around the stands.
