I love Stevie Ward hes a terrific player and top lad. If he could stay fit he would be the best player in Super League, thats how highly i rate the kid. Unfortunately though he cant stay fit and in a salary cap sport you cant have big chunks of the cap just sitting in the stands constantly.

Every year its "if Wardy can stay fit" and every year its a letdown im afraid. No fault of Wards but he just cant do it.

A business decision needs to be made i feel.

Personally wouldn’t mind Dan Smith as a like for like with Albert. He gets the chance to play in the same team as his brother, wouldn’t be much on the cap, plus would be some exemption due to coming from the academy.

Wonder if we bring Daniel Smith in could be to cover Crosby as well haven't heard an update on his recovery like we have with Walker,T.Briscoe, L.Sutcliffe and Leeming.

Not sure how I feel about Ward going, if he does.

I've always said we should stick with him and he'll come good in the end.

However if he has a good opportunity at TW, he could be great for them and it might be better for him to change scene and put his Leeds woes behind him.

And, one area we aren't lacking in talent is back row.

We do need to free up cash so that we can retain the core junior talent as much as we can.

Will back the club whichever way this goes, I'm sure they'll make the right call.

I think he is what we need, he could play prop easily.

esp if Ward and/or Cuthbertson leaves
