TS's facial contortions are twitchy and manic by nature.

Stressful situations merely serve to highlight his 'can't look you in the eyes' weirdness.

OTOH, McDermott's twitchy hand movements during interview are far more creepier.

I remember some of smith's interviews as leeds coach, and after some questions he would contort his face into a forced, twisted awkward smile yet looked furious in his eyes, with his head pointed left or right away from the camera.
