with regards to the james gig on tuesday i have to say its the best gig i have ever been to. from the first song till the last the place was banging. james, with tim booth in magnificent form, started with a few older favourites before doing some great more melencholy stuff from the last album. they then cranked it up before finishing with laid which had the academy rocking. they returned to do an acoustic slow version of sit down which ended with the crowd singing the while song back to the band. after another two encores the band finished to a well deserved magnificent ovation.

if you see one band in the next few years make sure its james.
