Great result for us last night, that's 2 poor results for them all in all, shows how important that win v Leicester was, it's put Ipswich under pressure.

Ipswich played Southampton away already, won 1-0. They've Leicester twice and us at Elland Rd to come so it's most deffo game on now. We just need to take it a game at a time, we've some winnable fixtures coming up but as we saw at Stoke and Hull, we can't be complacent with these next 4 or 5 games.

I think the Leicester win will give us more confidence. Hopefully it will help us cut out these avoidable losses.

Yeah agree and i think hopefully if Spence gets back fit soon that will be another big boost, but he's been out a while so it may take a bit of time. Interesting to see if Gnonto can make an impression over the next few weeks, he's gone of the boil a touch and there's agent talk from Italy already..

If we can find a replacement in January I'd let Gnonto leave if the fee is right, hes clearly not happy and hes not really performing for us.

He'd have to be replaced. only concern for me is if one of Summerville / James gets injured, losing Gnonto could leave us short and i'm not yet fully convinced on J Anthony. He also gives us decent cover at 10 & 9. Can't afford to weaken imo.

I'd let Gnonto go for the right price and look to replace him with a left footed right winger.

Amiri is desperate to leave, i'd be surprised if we went back in for him after how he messed us about. Farke likes him and i'm sure he's plenty good enough for the championship but i'm not sure we will speak with him again, he really annoyed Farke and the club but could have been down to his agent.

Phil Hay thinks we may well strengthen at LB and 10 though in Jan he was saying the other day...potentially a no obligation if we don't go up loan may work..

I think it depends on how Amari handles the situation with Farke.
If he grovels enough and puts the blame on his family/agent then he might join us.
Like you say Farke certainly rates him.
I hope we are not putting our faith in the hands of Firpo as I`m not convinced he can face the competitiveness of the Championship and Dallas will need some time to get match fit if he ever plays again.
Same goes for Byram and his history of injuries.
