Was certainly an abysmal performance. Took absolutely nothing positive out of the game. No pace, no organisation, no moves, no energy nothing.

Yes we have a few out but nowhere near as earlier in season and certainly not enough to warrant an excuse against a team like Batley.

Fair play to Batley they had a real go and did their club and themselves proud as did their fans tonight.

The end of season review needs to ask some really deep questions into what happens on the training ground thru the week.

I accept its difficult to get up for games you are always going to win but that performance tonight was shocking.

There's a monumental lack of direction and leadership in the team, or at least that's how it appears to me.

We have experienced players making impetuous errors time after time. If these mistakes were being made by youngsters like Sutcliffe and Lilley I'd be content that they're learning, but they're being made by the likes of Burrow and Ablett. Despite the positives they bring in other areas we need something else from them now. Composure and leadership, and they're not providing it.

We have been spoilt in the last 12 years with leaders like Sinfield and JP. New leaders will come thru and develop but that takes time.

We need to sign new leaders and the first one should be a new coach

It takes opportunities and faith too. Persisting with something not working is just not sane.

I appreciate it is very difficult to motivate players for games like this but this was an abysmal performance by any standard.

Batley were a team that London put 60 points on only winning by 30+ is embarrassing for what was a pretty strong Rhinos side

I cannot fathom how some on here can see a side playing to the standard Leeds have in the middle 8s will challenge the better sides next year if the current playing, coaching and conditioning staff remain in place?

I went to the game last night for the first time in a while. Leeds looked unfit, uninterested and uncoached. Truly abysmal with many seasoned players making the most basic of mistakes. Unless there is a significant change of personnel for next year on both playing and back room staff there is no reason to believe it will suddenly become much better. Oh and the long bar, that used to be a hive of activity, was virtually empty. Perhaps that's a beacon of supporter apathy.

One other point, if there was really 15k people there last night I'm a Dutchman... No wonder you can read about how well Leeds are supported when they include the season ticket holders who don't turn up to watch the garbage that is being served up this year.

I must say I'm disappointed with most of the comments on here. We tried our very best last night and gave Leeds a game. Granted it might not have met your standards but the reason you didn't put 60 - 70 points on us is because ours lads stuck at it for 80 mins. Quite a few times we forced the error or got back to make the tackle. You should try watching both sides in the game and crediting the opposition most of whom had been at work that day!

Of course. any criticism of Leeds on here is not meant to take away from the efforts of a fully commited Batley side.

Batley were great entertainment and for much of the game the more creative and intelligent team. I don't think the comments were aimed in any way at Batley who did themselves, the club and the supporters proud.

I was impressed with Batley, they were much better than I expected.

Because how we play in the Middle 8's has no real baring on how we play next year. I was disappointed we weren't more ruthless and scored more but their is a clear 'let's just get this season over with' sense about things.

Like at the end of the 2014 season people focused more on the losses to London and Bradford rather than the cup wins vs Warrington and Cas, I said they were a truer indicator of what we could do and I'd say the same about our recent wins vs Hull and Wigan rather than how big a scoreline we beat Batley by.
