| Seems to be taking a long time to officially announce it’s off? Let’s hope it’s a just a postponement as opposed to a forfeit situation as happened to a club(s) last season for COVID breaches??

| There won't be a forfeit, that's why they decided to use the win percentage again this season.

| I too am gutted but had I of chosen a time for us to be affected in two games, it would be these two as they are the form teams.
Catalans likely to be rearranged for the cc final weekend I would think.

| Will any be rearranged or will win percentage come into play and the games dont take place? I thought thats why the win percentage was maintained.

| As gutting as it is not to be going on Friday, I think if we had 6 out the game would be an uphill struggle, I'm not suggesting it's a good thing that some of our players have caught Covid, their health and fitness is the ultimate priority but just trying to take any positive from the situation. It could also mean that the game is rearranged for a time when we can have more supporters in the ground.

The game can attempt to be rearranged, but between Saints making the cup final, and for reasons not quite understood, the RFL building a busier than usual schedule for the clubs (including overlapping England games) with shorter turnarounds it’s unlikely to fit in anywhere either team would be happy with, short of a period of playing 3 games in 6 days (which you know, player welfare is a thing) so i would assume that win percentage will come in.

| One way of avoiding another heavy defeat I guess. I just don't get the obsession with Covid. If a team had 9 injuries they wouldn't be allowed to postpone a game. Why can they because it's the almighty covid?
Imagine if track and trace used Snapchat as well, the whole team would be quarantined given the parties and bbqs going on last week after the Cas game.

That’s the reason I’ve bet on Hull for tomorrow’s game. Cas really lack professionalism as a club, I’d say it’s the reason they’ve never won a trophy whilst in Super League. They did the same when they reached the Grand Final, they celebrated like they’d won the competition, I knew then it’d be a big defeat for them, and Leeds went on to win comfortably.

| Maybe Leeds should control their players better. A weekend off and some of them allegedly attend large gatherings.

Another case of people blaming the RFL for stuff that's nothing to do with it.
It's SLE and the SL clubs who decided how many games they wanted to have in the season and when it would start (late).
The lone rep weekend was always going to be there and is hardly a big ask when there is such a huge tournament at the end of the season. Again the choice of the SL clubs to play games that same weekend is theirs alone.

| On another point
More Covid cases and the fall out from that could well mean Prior decides to go back home at the end of the season, the club gave him a few weeks to think about it and this could well make his decision for him.

Yeah, my thoughts too when the covid situation resurfaced at the club. Would be a great shame if that is the case but you can hardly blame him. He had to be persuaded to return this season but his performances have been excellent again.
