I think the only positive was the team spirit, and there for all to see was the conclusive proof of the difference that Buderus offers over Diskin. Forget his 2 knock ons when he came on in the second half, happens, but I believe he is actually beginning to restrict the team's attacking options when he comes on.

The usual suspects will no doubt be having an attack of the vapours, but the guy has had a great career with us, and his MOS in 2004 sealed a great season for all of us, but he is not the player of 6 years ago. Perhaps its time for Bluey to bite the bullet on this 2 hooker experiment.

If ya mean Hodgy, then he has been great for us in making us the no1 team in Yorkshire but all good things come to an end, couldn't run to a 2 year contact for a back who will be 33 before next season kicks off, great thinker, great positionally, great influence but starting to pick up the knocks now and legs gone, good luck to the fella though as deserves a big payday to finish off his great career.
BTW:- NB is contracted for another season so won't be off till end of 2011 season mucker.

Bluey said the same kind of thing in his post-match interview but mentioned a physio's report on Monday. Certainly didn't mention anything about Ablett sustaining a serious injury, just that it was a leg problem.

Why? We had a rookie on one wing and a not very experienced player as his centre. You went that way almost every time, which makes sense given the vulnerability there. I expected you to pummel us with tries on that wing; was dreading it in fact. I was surprised how difficult you found it to do that.

When you see the posession stats it's not hard to see why we found it difficult.

Aiiiii but can look at this in 2 ways:-

Do we do a Saints and get rid and replace with a younger player ala Sean Long/Kyle Eastmond

Or do we do a Leeds and keep a back who is knocking on as in Keith Senior?

I would say judging by the result on Saturday night and the league table the Saints option is the way to go, hence Brett been offered a 1yr take it or leave it deal.
