Had a good feeling about today. We needed 2 points, Wigan had played mid-week and without French they are a different team. McDonnell MOM for me he was awesome followed by Rhys and Bentley. On to the Magic!

Good to see Wigan fans gunning for Walters, believed his own hype.

That was the most complete performance I've seen in a long time the whole team played as a "team" marvelous stuff only down side was Fusitua again hopefully he will do the right thing now he's injured again and make way for the youth.

That was a very good display from all the players today.
No dying with the ball and stopping the flow when Smith plays.
McDonnell, Bentley and O`Connor my top 3.
Miller played well but bombed a certain try not passing to Newman but certainly made up for it.
Smith was lucky not to get binned for a tip tackle on Bentley and for pulling him back with some force.
Silly man will miss a couple of games now just when Wigan needed him.
Without doubt the 3 games in 10 days took it`s toil but we gave them nothing and had a well deserved win.
If only we had beat Salford last week.
And hats off to Peat who recognised Smith`s shortcomings.

Really enjoyed that today. Not just the performance and beating the pies, but the ref seemed to do a decent job and the two tier refereeing we have seen over the last few years wasn’t evident today. There were some really strong displays in there, and the players actually looked like a team. It might seem unfair to single a player out that hasn’t even played today for criticism, but it was a joy to watch a Leeds team without Cam Smith getting in the way. He’s like a governor on a car, slowing things down. Everything seemed to flow much better and Frawley looked a decent playmaker without Smith getting in the way. That’s only my opinion, and I don’t want to seem like a killjoy after a display like that, bit I’m dreading his return next week along with that silly little drop off play he does with Frawley. Thought the atmosphere was the best at Headingley this season, there hasn’t been any atmosphere up till today, and though the crowd was sp in the South Stand they did a good job of lifting the team along with everyone else. Will watch the recording back again tomorrow for the first time this season, just hope we don’t get beaten this time.

I wonder if he might stick with Frawley as skipper and go with Smith off the bench next week. Still think Smith can play well under Arthur, but in order to do so, he'll have to simplify and speed up his game.

Smith should be interchange prop from now and shouldn’t be first receiver. I’m not convinced JOC is the long them answer at 13 but it was delightful to have some pace there and to seen Frawley and Croft linking up at first/second receiver.

I don`t think BA will leave Smith out so should play him at prop where he can hold on to the ball and maybe get the odd pass out to the supporting player.

Happy with Frawley as captain. I thought Arthur would warm to him when he came in (hence my comment a few weeks back about Arthur making some unpopular decisions - remember most people on here wanted to bin Frawley after a handful of games, unjustly IMO). Otherwise, I thought Miller was the pick of our antipodean signings from this season, followed by Croft. Some nice touches from 'Mommers/Momster' in attack and defence but a bit more hit and miss this week.

I agree with Tad and others that we seem to look more fluent without Cam Smith on the field, and we coped well without the 40-60 tackles he puts in every week. O'Connor seems to bring more energy and intensity, even though I worry he's too small for 13.

Despite some ill discipline early in the game I thought Lisone actually did well as our most senior prop (and I've not been a fan of his this season). Littlewood seems to have a bit more size about him than some of our other forwards which is welcome.

I don't get why Harry Smith is an England player, he's like a dirty version of Paul Deacon... Put Frawley behind that Wigan pack and he'd look even better (after all, Frawley can tackle).

Only downer was seeing Rhyse Martin play so well, we will miss him a lot.

He's not even a SL player. An excellent kicker from hand, when given the time, but offers absolutely nothing otherwise. A glance at the HB stats show it. A poor passer, can't take on the line, poor tackler, no pace to support a break, a cowardly, nasty side. I know what you mean about Deacon, but I think he's a poor version of Matty Smith, and he was gash. Wigan are lost without French in attack and diverting defenders. Anybody would think an ex-Wigan player and coach picked the team.
And I thought the same about Frawley.
