Quote: Shabino "Cracking game and entertainment that. No complaints here.
Watched it with another hardcore Rhino and we were both impressed. Made some really good line brakes that second half. Not clinical enough to win it, but it will come. Keep the faith!'"

Totally agree shabs, lots of positives and obviously lots to work on but I wanted a reaction from last week and i think we got it.

Some of the rhinos fans near me were an embarrassment- calling for Rohan Smith to be sacked and booing. Get a grip

Why the hell ie smith playing Handley at centre. Is he on drugs???

Too much dropped ball and bang average in attack. We looked like an Agar team tonight

Stuttering. Thought we might fire at a couple of points but never really happened.
However it was just about possible to see make out what the plan was which was a first for the year. Fair bit better than last week at least..

I’m shocked you’ve let Tindall come to us. Class every time he plays for us. Surprised he’s not selected over Olpherts.

Handley is a pretty good winger, he’s no Ryan Hall, but pretty good. He’s not a Centre and never will be, just doesn’t have a lot of the necessary attributes at all.

Quote: batleyrhino "I think everyone knows my thoughts on singing Olpherts, he’s just nothing like why we need, makes as many errors as positive contributions and is just as likely to drop it as catch it. We didn’t need to sign a winger, we needed to keep a decent fullback and sign a better hooker and halfback.'"

Yep. And we need to sort those 3 positions next season without fail. Lisone looks very unfit to me… hoping he improves soon

I think thats harsh, were not getting close with Agar in charge

A little more composure and we win that, Hull are no mugs

We had enough chances to win that by plenty but didn’t take them. Again we struggled to contain a big forward.

Sezer needs to do more and Myler looks like he’s at the back end of his career.

0-3 next week and yet another poor start. Fed up of it

In terms of positives, obviously it was an improvement. Macdonald was good, the odd rust error aside. Sangare has done what he was brought in to do, which is add impact, and I thought Cam Smith and Holroyd were good too. Holroyd will definitely improve with more game time too. I thought Fus continued some good form especially in yardage.

Negatives, well all the tries conceded were soft. Handley makes a wingers attempt while in the centre and Sezer makes a god awful read on the Sutcliffe try.

We bombed so many chances, but they were all off individual broken tackles or a bit of add lib (the smith break aside). It still looks like we don’t have a clue in good ball, short of give it sangare on an edge. I’d also be interested in how often we get a good set outcome like a repeat set or finish on our terms in good ball, because it feels like never, and that to me lies firmly at the feet of the spine players.

Better than last week but if we repeat the errors and poor defence against Sts we'll get mullered.

Hugely frustrating that we didn't make the most of three big line breaks in the second half, but the effort was there. Some of our most dangerous players made some of the most costly errors. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. Could really do with Newman coming back and staying fit. One of these years we might actually start a season with a few wins.

Another positive is Tetevano actually carried with intent in his first 20. Though didn't he actually play 50 straight? Not a good call.

Also, we're not wakey

Myler - Just a plodder tonight
Fusitua - took his try well but soft as $hit
Macdonald - good going forward, couldn’t tackle a good Sunday dinner
Handley - not a centre, end of story
Olpherts - terrible
Austin - great hands, couple of mistakes but tried to make things happen
Sezer - if I never see him in a Leeds jumper again I wouldn’t lose any sleep
Holroyd - Excellent
Leeming - not good enough
Tetevano - crap but had a decent first 20
Gannon - meh
Martin - didn’t see any ball
Smith - very good, makes things happen even if he looks like he’s running in quick sand

O’Connor - steady
Sangare - very good again
Lisone - fat
Donaldson - trier but crap
