| Both mens and womens teams were blown away by St Helens in finals this year so I think a new coaching direction is needed at the club but will it be accepted?
Our men have responded well to Agar but what's needed is a Tony Smith. Sadly, I think the gap taking us from where we are now to winning a Grand Final next year is much bigger than what it was in 2004.

Where has this myth come from that Leeming is a poor passer off the floor?

By people with an agenda who want a scapegoat, Dream team hooker this year but sone fans think he’s c*** and want him replacing with a kid who has commitment issues and has only played championship.
Lets see if Cory Johnson still wants to be a professional RL in 9-12 months time before we start giving him the 9 shirt.

| dream team? he isnt even in top 5 SL hookers.
he's in as he scored most points as a leeds player. a deeply flawed system.
it's called having an opinion, not an agenda mr foul mouth.
try discussing like a grown up, it's what a forum Is for

Throws teddy out of pram because someone does not agree with his flawed logic then tells someone else to grow up,
Fact he ended up dream team hooker and you dont like it because you dont like him.

| no, it's called having an opinion.
without swearing or ranting.
do I rate him? hes ok. no better imo.
you really think he was better than mcshane or Clarke last year?
the dream team had a few players who were, let's say, strange choices. no makinson but davies and sio? I know which I'd rather have

| Leeming wouldn’t be our weakest link right now. The club obviously rates him. I’d like to see him have an injury-free season spent at 9.
We’ll know if Johnson’s head is properly back on by the time we start next season. If it is he will put serious pressure on Dwyer for a bench spot, or to start if Leeming gets injured.

| I rate Leeming and don't particularly think his passing is as weak as some poster's think. I suspect the coaching staff think the same. Leeming and Johnson could form a 9 partnership for many seasons.

| Leeming is a decent improving player. Hes had to play in the halves for part of the year and has done so manfully but we need him back at 9 next year. His passing is better than Dwyer, anyones is, but his contact in defence and decision making in attack needs to improve for me. Hes settled in at Leeds now and is on an upward curve.

| Interested again to see how our end of season review goes.
We’re in a strong and progressive place overall.
We will need both the right new signings and the best staff support in SL to leapfrog Saints from here.

| Unless Saints drop off badly it will be a struggle to overtake them and they look to have recruited well. More realistic is overtaking Catalans and Warrington and being a top 2/3 team. Possibly realistic to win CC again injuries will play a part but who knows what hand we get dealt by Lady Luck!!

These are elite athletes - expecting them to have a high proficiency in basic skills is surely not asking that much. If you want to see a hooker with good technique - take a look at the hooker for the Rhinos ladies side

As I posted on another thread not taking away from how good a side they’ve been but I think Saints have had a very kind hand dealt to them on the injury front these last couple of years. Also going into last years grand final they were super fresh as barely played in the run up to the playoffs because of covid. They’re due a bit of bad luck.
The talk of this Saints team being one of the best ever is hogwash. Both Leeds and Saints have had better sides.
