We could have gone into this fixture with an almost fully rested first 13. If the weather is hot down there and we start losing the energy battle this one could get ugly.

I don’t think we are a good chance in these games without Mik. With Holroyd coming back strongly we are just about on the edge up front but lose anyone and we look underdone.

He is pretty physical and is the fastest man at the club last I heard. Going forward he can be a real handful.

Defensively, don’t like him much at all from what I’ve seen. But he needs exposure to learn and for us to learn more about him.

Not sure who else from the academy could step up at wing since we let Stephens go, who we both liked.

Also, I felt T Briscoe looks like he needs a game off after last outing plus I’m not sure if I prefer him at centre to wing…

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hurrell do a stint in the pack in this one.

I suspect when Newman comes on that Sutcliffe will move to the halves, Leeming to Hooker and Dwyer to get a rest given he has played a lot of 80 minutes at hooker recently.

Surprised Newman is being lined up to play so soon. Fingers crossed for him.
