Goodway was a funny one seem to remember he was coming back from a bad arm break all but ready to retire and was persuaded to not retire and sign for us and see how it went. Didn’t work out, but we did the same with Gary Connolly and that went well. Gregory was past it but we needed a 7 desperately after Goulding was sacked.

He was great for 3-4 years and probably the best prop in the world at one point but then declined rapidly.

as a Wigan fan i would say Jamie Peacock hands down, and certainly a player i would have loved at Wigan. Could certainly handle himself and play a bit

Kylie Leuluai is one i had a lot of respect for. Turned up week in week out and very rarely took a backwards step. Perhaps didnt get the plaudits of some of the others, and i would say one of the unsung heroes of your successful generation.

Barry Mac, dont really need say much else about him. I like good hard prop forwards, and he fits the bill

of moz , jp , graham and fielden i'd pick moz

being serious committed and hard working covers too many of the squad , there should be a fb , centre or hb that are well above that , also pack to have a sts or cats like prop and a 2nd row that makes some breaks , though we are probably as strong as could be if the 2 new forwards come good.... Moz was a second row in his prime. Only really converted to prop in his Warrington days. Would you really say he's best prop you've seen from his Warrington days?

definitely a second row at leeds was prop in australia i thought , certainly bulked up there , jp was aslowed down 2nd row with a giant heart ,graham had too many stand off pretensions
