| Quote: Barrie's Glass Eye "I think some credit has to go to Wakefield today, they were very organised and once they got some joy on Abletts side they kept going there, defence was solid from them as well.'"
Cheers for that, enjoyed our annual festive trip to Headingley and really looking forward to the new season. Have to say though seriously disappointed in McDermott's comments about today being an open training session. A lack of decency there when both sets of fans have shelled out the best part of twenty quid, he may well have thought it but poor form to come out with it.
All the best for 2017

I try not to get drawn into that debate Billy old lad. Seasons best to you and yours BTW and indeed to all on this board.

| Just watching the highlights and it looks worst than I thought.
Wakefield looked like the NRL premiers against us.

| today's game looked like only one side had done any ball skills, where as the other side looked like it had spent its pre season thus far doing nothing more than fitness drills just in case the heavy rains come and the training ground got flooded again
no drama's yet as the season hasn't started, but if that had been round 1 of super league then i would have been really worried as we were crap
credit to wakey tho as they attacked really well and should have won by more, some cracking defence on show too

| A 10 mile ride on my bike , 4 pints in the pub and all for under £20. I would have been livid if I'd forked out that for an ' opposed training session' Please go now Mcdermott.

They didn't show the 3 tries Wakey bombed mate or how easy Finn ran the game.

| £18 are there no depths to which the club will stoop to take the Mickey out of its fans. I am unsure which is sadder - the fact the club can charge for such rubbish or fans who will happily pay for such rubbish.
If it was going to be a training session why didn't the club say so before the game and give the supporters the option?
