It was obvious from a thread you commented on that I attended the game - now how can we verify you went?

Seen as I don't know anyone on here personally I can't confirm it that way but I do suppose that knowing that the pre match mascot wouldn't run with Ronnie to do his slide towards the South Stand and had to be carried off (by presumably their parent), that at HT we had groups of children lining up blue/yellow/blue/yellow etc. doing a dance routine in front of the SouthStand whilst most of the cheerleaders who were with them were hiding under their hoodies trying to avoid the rain, or that Delaney came on to the pitch prematch in his suit to present something to somebody and that instead of the usual Brett Ferres chant the crowd sang "Brett Ferres he's one of our own" when he was down injured. Also it'd be very strange if I wasn't there as me and several of my mates are in one of the 'Caught at the game' pictures posted by the club on Facebook yesterday....must have been my doppelgänger.

Not sure how I ended up in a distinct group of having no particular opinion one way or t'other, given the vehement criticism I've handed out to both GH and McDermott of late, but hey.

We had a bet that I said Leeds would not make the GF - you accepted based on your belief they would.

You mean rlthis threadrl where you wanted me to bet that Leeds would make the grand final? The same thread where I politely declined your offer as I wasn't sure we'd even make the top 4 but was willing to risk it betting on that, just to keep things interesting. Unfortunately you never replied so unless there's a discussion i've forgotten about then there's no bet.

See, you like to claim on here (and you've done so in this very thread) that i'm some kind of club "apologist" who thinks that Leeds will win every game and every trophy yet the above link proves that not to be the case doesn't it? You also like to pretend that you're a "realist" but that's also just been blown out of the water by your ridiculous bet offer of Leeds making the GF and your even sillier bet last year that Leeds wouldn't even make the top 4.

What's actually true is that, unlike yourself, I have a pretty balanced and unclouded view and over the last 2 seasons have got it a lot more right than you have done. I've probably got it more right than you for many years actually, especially if your attitude to the Leeds club has always been like it currently is.
