P.S. We all know really it's because you're a tight ar*e as to why you don't spend money on things......how's your latest haggling regarding you getting cheap tv deals going?'"
I've chucked more money away on three trips down under attending international RL events in 06, 08 and 10 than an insignificant south leeds scrote like you has spent in a lifetime of supporting Leeds whilst giving your closest RL club a huge swerve.
Headingley was much better in days of yore when the great unwashed from south of the river knew their place and remained south of the river along with their communal odours.

Sometimes your turn of phrase really makes me smile.

| Or simply people buying early to get 0% interest?

Exactly, in previous seasons I've waited till the last Friday before the deadline day but this year I'm spreading the cost over 11 months since I missed the initial deadline by a few days or I would have spread the cost over 12 months.
I think the interest free option is a splendid initiative by the club & one that I wish YCCC would also adopt.
I would expect that other SL clubs will follow Leeds in doing this in future years.
It has to be a boon to the club in terms of cash flow forecasting & planning.

It's a no brainer for clubs at a time of 0.5% interest rates. The "cost" to them of interest spread out over the year will be about 50p per ticket, so they only need one new customer for every 600 who gain from the offer to make it worthwhile.

If it's such a no-brainer, why aren't all clubs doing it?

Because they have no brains?
Alternatively because they *need* the cash up front to pay loans or suppliers where the interest rate would be significantly more than 0.5%. So perhaps I should have said it's a no-brainer for clubs who are in credit.

| Bradford's reward to their fans for being relegated is a standing season ticket at £230 along with a lovely £20 admin fee through Zebra finance.
