| Quote: Juan Cornetto " you should equally trust others to put reasoned arguments that perhaps would explain reasons for some of our coaches decisons.
'" The evidence of too many years posting here on means I trust very few posters, with a couple of exceptions, to do any such thing.
FWIW, I don't consider "coach knows best" to be any kind of decent counter argument, whether it is right or not.
FWIW, Mr Gilder, who I have berated for a couple of "coach knows best" sentiments recently, is one of the said exceptions referred to above which I why I expect more from him than such.
The coach has, of course, earned the benefit of the doubt but whilst he continues to persist in tackling games with 16 players that doubt will remain and continue to increase.

| It was a case of job done and one that the t.v cameras did well to avoid.
There were some bright spots Moon ,Achurch ,Mcshane and again Hardaker looks class.
How Mcguire got m.o.m is anyones guess apart from a walk in under the sticks from Singletons break and a blind pass through his legs i thought he looked out of sorts and off the pace.
Hopefully Singleton did enough to show he deserves more gametime and Mcshane has done enough to be trusted more aswell.
For me London were very very average at best and although they had 1 or 2 who gave it a go SL wouldn't miss them and would gain much more with either Fev ,Halifax or even Sheffield in the comp.

I'm flattered
If I've expressed any such sentiments, it's precisely because I can see why he makes the decisions he does. I don't always agree with them, but they seem to be getting results.

| Ughhh! Not the best of matches to "treat" my lad to.
McGuire should not have got M.O.M. simply for his inexcusable bombing of a certain try ....which would have given Moon a hat trick.
Singleton looked good....surely worth an extended run as sub in place of Moore or Kirke.
Burrow - poor lad - is still to get off the mark on the tries scored this season, despite his one long break (the first for a long long time) and near certainity to score. Ideal chance to try him from the bench tonight with McShane starting.
Funny how Ablett now seems quite capable to passing to his winger on the right.

| TBF I thought Ablett held on too long on a few occasions tonight when he had Watkins lined up one on one with Dixon.
I thought Kirke, Achurch and Singleton all had good games tonight. McGuire was good too and live I thought his decision to keep the ball was the right one. On view of the replay, maybe he should have given it though as the defender was a couple of paces back. You can see why he went himself though.
TBF though we never got out of 2nd gear and we didn't need to. London are the worst team I have seen play live this year and with falling crowds you have to wonder where the future lies.
Aparently there's a golden age for the youth coming up, but it might come through too little too late.

| Oh, and I would be very disappointed if Leeds singed Dixon. Too small, not lightning quick and can't defend. In a 10 team SL I doubt he would get a spot.

| We went behind the sticks for the second half, felt a bit sorry for the London players, about 10 fans were there, its difficult to know demoralising that must be for the players.

What was the score between the Roosters and the Bulldogs? pretty intense stuff in Sydney? Every game matters in the NRL!!

| Quote: Gotcha "Over the last two games, Ward has probably been our most outstanding player, taken as a whole. His tackling has been absolutely immense in the games. No way would that lad be dropped at the moment for anyone in his position. Unlike some others, he hasn't had the over exerting game time so far this year either.'"
He is basically doing the tackling that Burrow should be as the hooker - outstanding again last night. I worry for Sutcliffe, if he is as special a player as he appears he will be lost to Leeds. How is he ever going to get any game time, Sinfield, McGuire and Burrow have at least 3 years still in them he should not be expected to kick heels until then.

Not quite as clear cut as it may have looked from the Southstand. Moon had over-run. By the time Mags was tackled Moon was level with him.
IMO McGuire should have let the pass go earlier but also Moon was a bit too eager in keeping up with him.
Anyway - a dull game and a poor effort from the travelling support. There were 4 of them on the Western Terrace!!! 4 - FFS.
