I thought Keinhorst looked quite promising and did not look at all out of place playing first-team rugby.

V. good considering he is just someone's 'project' that will not make it at SL level according to some on here (who may have since revised their opinions) icon_wink.gif

Without getting carried away, I hope he gets more chances to show us what he's capable of.

Quote: Tyke's/Rhinos No. 1 Fan "I went into the ground an hour before kickoff. If you went in stupidly early, well done you.

I use the trum to keep the rhythm of the chants up so that people who are further than 30 feet away can hear it & keep up, which tends to be why chants die. I've said before, and will say again, I'm happy to try and support anything people want to get going. I wish some others would show the same attitude.

As for 'dropping club servants' and making lists, forgive me for pointing out available players who would improve the squad, and pointing out that some players have been underperforming. I thought JP was ace yesterday, and has been for the past three weeks. But before that, he had been poor. I'm happy he's playing better now.

As for 'screaming for change', I think you're getting myself & NE confused.'"

The main problem is your attitude 'if you don't like it go elsewhere' As fat boy stated it's like smoking at a busy bus stop. Im a smoker but wouldn't dream of doing that let alone telling anyone who took offence to 'go somewhere else'.
You say that you use the thing to keep the rhythm of chants going the problem with that is you have no rhythm, Hitting the thing as hard as you can (as you do) does not compensate it sounds awful.

Just for the record i have been a southstander for 25 years and have no problem with the band at HQ as they can play and create an atmopsphere.

As is, it's only out of time if you're one of the half-brained group that insists on singing every song at half pace, and mixing one song no-one knows the words to with an incredibly witty and stirring number about one of our forwards' genitalia. The same group who spent the 2nd half of Huddersfield away in 2010 abusing our own fans, and refuse to join in any chant they don't start.'"

IMO he deserves a start in the LC position: we know Ablett can step in if it starts to go titzupp

Was reading an article on the Leeds site (the one about the world record attempt) and noticed he's Hunslet's top try scorer. Thought I'd check out his stats on the Hunslet site and he's apparently scored 9 in 10 games which I think is pretty good in an average Championship side. And almost twice as many as the next top try scorer of 5. In any team I think these are good stats. I know his two games for Leeds this year were poor but with Ablett and Peacock out for up to another 7 weeks and Vickery playing average would like to see him given a few more games. The problem with this though is that I wouldn't play him on the wing as I think he is a poor winger but a much better centre and could still give Watkins all the ball he requires to score tries - as long as it get's that far out in the first place.

From what I hear he has had some strong showings for Hunslet and also has the respect of the coach there from again his work ethic which was noted by Leeds when they signed him.

Would like to see him given a run as you suggest inside Watkins, he showed good ball skills and off loading with Hall. Defence was strong and he just needs a regular run in the team. Watkins can come into the line at various times and look for gaps, but I don't see it as weakness if we can Keinhorst in at and Watkins on the weak, no weaker than last game and pace wise on the wing with watkins a good improvement
