I couldn't agree more, Carl's a VERY under rated player in my opinion. Sure we'll put it right against
the Bulls.

It's certainly not the case around this board where if anything he's in danger of becoming a touch over rated, IMO.

big generalisation. some people on here wouldnt recognise the value of a hard working flexible and skillful backrower. Others would may see him as a much better player than he is just because he played in blue and amber

I rate ablett think he is a good player, but am realistic with what he brings.

There are several players like ablett, bailey is another example.

They are under rated by opposition fans and as a result we tend to over rate them

Ablett is a vital cog in our side. Don't think there should be any over rating of that, it's quite simple that that is what he is. In comparison to our other backrowers (JJB excepted to an extent) he is way above them, and therefore naturally highly rated.

Bailey isn't a vital cog in the side. He is better than than the replacements that come in when he is out, and the team improvs with him, but not vital to the team to perform,

Don't get me wrong ablett has always been one of my favourite players. Just think that some people over rate him and the reason is other teams masively under rate him

I rate Ablett very highly. Very highly indeed.

He's a superb back rower with a fantastic work rate and half deecent pair of hands. He can also cover left centre to a very accomplished level.
