If people like Watkins are near an England start the national player pool is worse than ever. Watkins has bags of potential but hasnt even had solid run at club level.'"
Not ready yet, but the best prospect we've had at centre for a while. He needs to stay healthy and build some experience, which should in turn help cut out some of the errors. Then he could be a real star. England really need him to develop and fulfill his potential.

Agree with both these.
Although is it just a coincidence that the two English centres for the next couple of years are likely to be wATKINS & ATKINS! I think not!

| Is that Evans kid at Wire a Welsh? He's got some potential. It'd be a shame to see him do a Giggs and squander it playing for Wales.

| It was nice to see JJB and Ablett get some recognition last night, even if it was just the Boots N All team.

So you put Ade Gardner in over Ryan Hall with him been at a 'bigger' club?'"
Sorry, by 'bigger' I meant that Saints and Warrington are both better and more successful than Hull FC.
Actually, the same could be said about Atkins and Shenton's previous clubs

Rhys Evans ...he's gone on record as being committed to England I think...great prospect.

That's good news. We produce very few centres who really play like centres (as opposed to wide-running back rowers or big wingers) in this country. Watkins and Evans are the two who look to have the most potential to fill that role to me. Let's hope they continue to develop in the right way.

But this is rugby league, you can just change your national team anyway

Like the look of the 2011 shirt with the names, unique numbers and clubs woven in but amazed Paul Broadbent is still down as a St Helens player in 1997. I don't recall 'Beans' being a Saints player at any time although I do recall him giving good service at Sheffield, Halifax, Hull and Wakefield.
And why is Dureau's unique number 199 when the other debutants are between 116 and 121 with no-one taking 119. Do the RFL/SL not have a proof reader or anyone with a clue? Embarrassing but almost expected.

Still looking for 4, 10 and 13 in 1998 and have yet to find a still of the shirt with the answers visable.
