We could put him on advertising posters with Ian Kirke, like the Wayne MacDonald - Rob Burrow "Tallest and shortest" posters.
It could be the best player at making things happen and the best player at making absolutely nothing happen....

It's an amusing anecdote, but I wouldn't level that at McGuire

| Quote: tvoc "Chase makes thing happen with ball in hand, he's prepared to take the ball to the line and take defenders on and has a good short kicking game in the attacking zones, creating opportunities, building pressure through repeat sets. I'd suggest he would bring to Leeds some of what they are sadly currently lacking at half-back.
Whether Sinfield would appreciate his presence however.'"
Arguably the biggest problem the club faces IMHO. Satisfying the ongoing megalomaniac cravings of the current skipper for exerting his influence throughout the team and club.

If by the former you mean McGuire then I suggest you rev up the DeLorean and come back to 2011 from 2004.

This will be like catnip to Bywater.
Since when did you take the role of ByWater's chief pleasurer? Are you waiting for him on the corner of the pitch?

| Rob Burrow has a two yhear contract with Leeds.. They would not pay him off, they have no cash. So they would have to buy Chase £200K plus paying Burrow off £200K. Dont think so.

Not that I disagree with 90% of this, and I'm not saying I think we'll see Rangi Chase at Leeds any time soon, but what makes you think Leeds have no cash?
Obviously if Burrow were to go the other way as makeweight in lieu of some of that transfer fee, some of these obstacles could be removed.
I still can't see it though to be honest.

| Quote: Dettoriman "As said above,
Rangi has signed a deal, Worth about 200k a year running till the end of 2014. Should we get another license. He would like to sign again. He has no intentions on leaving the club, And definitely not to Leeds
Fwiw. Leeds couldnt afford him, The only offer you were making is player exchanges, And you dont have anyone in your team good enough to exchange
Warrington were willing to put silly money his way, But he has chosen to stay at Cas. And has requested there is no getting out of the deal. He loves the club, The town, The fans. So your stuck with an ageing 7 instead. Sorry'"
I could accept that we couldnt or probably more likely wouldnt be willing to offer money for him.
I cant see why he wouldnt go to warrington if they were offering "silly money" for him.
The last bit though, i wouldnt want him now anyway, he clearly must have some MHI if he loves the town
