| I bet Yorkshire Radio has never had a response like this to any of it's threads.

I am not taking any notice of Keith and his blatant attempts to troll the board (shame really as if he could be bothered he could contribute with a good view of the current situation), I am worried that the current situation we are in will not be fixed by persisting with the current style of play and with the current coaching team, although I am willing to give them this season to rectify the current failures.
Are you happy with the progress (or lack thereof) that we are showing from week to week at the moment?'"
Fwiw BR i can see yours and others concerns at the repeated errors and poor passing/defence we've witnessed at times this year.
I think Brian Mc has given the go-ahead to off-load etc etc but he can't be blamed for seasoned pro's making basic mistakes ,hospital passes and trying to score off every set.
He deserves at least this year imo and the chance to have a full squad available before we write him or the team off imo.
Sinfield in YEP last week touched on the players taking responsibillity for their mistakes and i think that's about right.
loads of work to be done still but we can see they are trying to play a different way to what we produced under Bluey and when not if we cut out the mistakes we can match anyone.

It's making you look quite foolish, which is a shame when you are very capable of having a sensible discussion on the merits (or lack of) regarding Leeds current predicament.'"
I'll give that response the consideration it deserves.
So, back to your worries. I repeat, what are the "continuing trends we don't seem to be able to fix" and how did they manifest themselves today?

You also appear to be missing the point entirely.
Relax.

| BTW, for those who did actually see the game, how did Kirke do? Was he busy with the ball this week?

In fairness to him his mind is all over the place. He's still very worried about the "continuing trends we don't seem to be able to fix" and not seeing today's game hasn't helped him allay those worries.

Inability to hold the ball and build pressure.
Lack of discipline with the ball avoiding throwing "miracle passes" which frequently lead to turning over possession.
Lack of discipline in defence, not conceding too many penalties. I see dissent raised it's head again today.
Lack of structure to attacking play.
All of the above were abundantly clear from the radio commentary, regardless of Keith's agenda, and none of them are contradicted by the comments of those who went to the game and have subsequently given their views.
If you want to look for a positive, we hald the worst attacking team in the league to one try, but gave them so much possession on our line that's a miracle.

| I think the OP on the "Wigan" thread tells us all much of what we should think of his views on most things SL related

The attacking from Leeds in the first half was worse than anything I have seen from them for quite a few years. The negativity at half time in the stand was very strong. Yes the defence stood firm but the Wakefield attack never looked dangerous. I was stood next to some Wakefield fans and they couldn't believe how poor Leeds we're attack and discipline wise. We posted some points in the second half and didn't let Wakefield in but all in all that was a very bad performance from Leeds. The scoreline, which flattered Leeds, looks to have brushed the poor display under the carpet.'"
Can't disagree with your views at all
Big improvement needed next week then against Wigan

| Hilarious talking to a couple of Wakey fans after the game. They were perplexed as to how the ref can get all the calls right in the first half, and get them all wrong in the second.

Ah. Hope it's not too serious but as a concern for the lads health no point rushing him back too soon.

He didn't play. You'd have known this had you listened to the commentary

Ah, I see. Well, try not to let it worry you. Worrying won't change anything.
I wish I could help you but I didn't go and didn't listen.
Still, in simple terms we conceded only 6 points and won a game so there's a couple of trends broken if you need cheering up.
