Yes, both team sports and individual pursuits. What motivates me is self respect and being the best I can possibly be, that isn't influenced by the shirt on my back, I put the same effort in no matter what. I was proud of what we achieved, not just priveleged to be there. If all that motivates you is the shirt you're wearing then you obviously haven't got much drive and determination in you.

Eastwood said when he first signed for Leeds it was about the money. With that being the case, he should get his head down and earn his pay, homesick or not.

In fairness though, people who have said Greg should 'shut up and get on with it' (or similar), it isn't Greg who has said any of these things, it's the media.

I believe at one point when he first arrived and was injured he said he was homesick but put it down to not being able to get involved. It's difficult to move to a new place and make good friends (I imagine especially at a sports club) when you can't get fully involved with your colleagues.

He should listen to Buderus post match interview on Sky after Saturday's Saints game about him just finally feeling like a Rhino. Buderus has been here 18 months and suffered spells out injured during his 1st year.

Why hasn't he refuted it then?

I would have thought that Bluey, being a Kiwi, knowing Eastwood from an early age, having coached/managed him at international level & having experienced simialr life changing events from an early age when his dad was over here as the Head coach of Saints, would be well aware of the potential pitfalls for a young lad such as Eastwood of being in an alien environment & would have done everything possible to make sure that he was well looked after when he came over here.
I also believe that the club know by now about how to handle players coming over here.
Doesn't Ali's wife or Willie Poching's wife have a role to play via the club to deal with the alleged issues that Eastwood is allegedly suffering from?

He did and so did the club when this 1st emerged when he was injured after the Quinns (H) game.

Oh well...if the fans feel messed around then of course he should be forced onto the field at all costs and if necessary pushed around by an enforcer shackled to him.
