That's quite clearly NOT what I said last week at all. Doesn't suprise me though that it wasn't read properly.

Doesn't surprise me that you failed to make your point clearly.

Yes, both team sports and individual pursuits. What motivates me is self respect and being the best I can possibly be, that isn't influenced by the shirt on my back, I put the same effort in no matter what. I was proud of what we achieved, not just priveleged to be there. If all that motivates you is the shirt you're wearing then you obviously haven't got much drive and determination in you.

| Eastwood said when he first signed for Leeds it was about the money. With that being the case, he should get his head down and earn his pay, homesick or not.
In fairness though, people who have said Greg should 'shut up and get on with it' (or similar), it isn't Greg who has said any of these things, it's the media.
I believe at one point when he first arrived and was injured he said he was homesick but put it down to not being able to get involved. It's difficult to move to a new place and make good friends (I imagine especially at a sports club) when you can't get fully involved with your colleagues.

| He should listen to Buderus post match interview on Sky after Saturday's Saints game about him just finally feeling like a Rhino. Buderus has been here 18 months and suffered spells out injured during his 1st year.

Why hasn't he refuted it then?

| I would have thought that Bluey, being a Kiwi, knowing Eastwood from an early age, having coached/managed him at international level & having experienced simialr life changing events from an early age when his dad was over here as the Head coach of Saints, would be well aware of the potential pitfalls for a young lad such as Eastwood of being in an alien environment & would have done everything possible to make sure that he was well looked after when he came over here.
I also believe that the club know by now about how to handle players coming over here.
Doesn't Ali's wife or Willie Poching's wife have a role to play via the club to deal with the alleged issues that Eastwood is allegedly suffering from?
All we know is speculation rumour & probably sloppy, mischievous journalism.

He did and so did the club when this 1st emerged when he was injured after the Quinns (H) game.

| Quote: G1 "That would be an easy solution for Greg, do doubt.
But maybe he should actually work through his issues and honour the commitment Leeds have made to him? I am tired and lazy and want to go home now. I am unhappy in the office. Should my employers let me go home therefore?
Leeds have made a massive commitment to Greg. They were extra-ordinarily accommodating to him last year, have committed a contract and, presumably, a quota space to him. Given his age and length of contract they've probably planned a lot of future recruitment plans around him honoring that contract.
If the stories are true it doesn't appear to be effecting his form on the pitch so why should Leeds care? I am sure that many of the Leeds players have personal, emotional issues but they play through them. I am afraid that Greg should do likewise. He feels homesick now, who knows how he might feel in 6 months time.
I remember as a kid going on a school trip for the 1st time. I got homesick and rang my mum in tears asking her to come and collect me. She gave me some tough but loving words and explained that she had paid money she could ill afford to send me on a trip I had begged to go on and that my issues weren't really issues and she could not and would not come and collect me. Maybe greg's father, if that letter really was him, could employ some better parenting and greg could man up like I did as a boy?
Should Leeds release Greg to make him happy? In my opinion, no. It's time for greg to grow up a little bit, work through his personal issues and repay much of the commitment made to him over these last two years by the Rhinos. It also would set a very dangerous precedent for future antipodeans looking to wriggle out of lucrative Super League contracts.'"
Seriously ......where do you find the time to regale us with such drivel ?? Your employer is obviously the one tired and lazy: you should have been sacked long ago.

I dont give a crap about whether antipodeans feel its a privilege, I'm saying they should feel privileged not mess the club and the fans around. if his father has writtne that letter then he's a dick.'"
Oh well...if the fans feel messed around then of course he should be forced onto the field at all costs and if necessary pushed around by an enforcer shackled to him.

With your persistent inability to properly use an apostrophe and further inability to discern the difference between 'effect' and 'affect' you very often fail to do the same.
