Quote: G1 "

I bet they were. Do you think they weren't? '"

I bet they were as well. I bet they were last year too. But on both occasions they lost, which is why I take little notice of what is said off the field because it generally means very little.

I don't have the numbers either but I'd guess more than half of our squad of 25 were involved, hence the majority. Certainly the majority of our starting 17.

Very little pre season.

I agree. He's made the most of a bad situation and is doing his utmost to ensure we peak at the right time, again.

Quote: G1 " No. The coaching and medical staff were scaling back training and match preparation. I'd imagine the team give 100% every time they take the field, win lose or draw.'"
Ok, so despite having preperation and training scaled back they still beat teams that would have been going all out. This shows alot of character and grit to get through these games and those are things you need to win titles.

Quote: G1 "Eh? Are you confused? '"

No. Are you?

Leeds have been holding back for 3/4 of the season yet may still finish top.

Quote: G1 "I take notice of everything. I discern what I find useful. Ignoring a subject matter simply means you don't have the full picture, which is self evident from your posts. '"

I haven't spoken to players and coaches in person, I gather you have. I wouldn't ignore that information either. But what I will ignore is what is said in the press because it is useless.

Quote: G1 "I'd imagine it will be how the team plays on the day rather than some qualities they showed 7 months ago but whatever'"
How you perform on the day is a culmination of the season. You gradually improve and build towards it. Leeds have shown the have the character to battle through close tight games (what playoffs and grand finals generally are) and now they are starting to display their attacking ability.

Quote: G1 "We were analysing Leeds performances. It helps to focus on Leeds to so do.'"

When analysing a performance you need to take account of the opposition.

Quote: Puig-Aubert "I can substantiate my claims with just one post (to follow).

As for the steroid related shrinkage - that rather depends on what steroids are being taken and what part of the appendage you're talking about. It also links to relative size - i.e. bodybuilders appear to have very small genitalia partly because of shrinkage to testes directly attributable to steroid usage and partly because the penis appears to be small relative to the steroid swollen thighs.

Anyway back to that post I promised you...'"

The only part of your package steroids shrink is your balls.

But that is only because your body temporarily stops producing it's own testosterone.

If you follow through with full pct they come right back to size.

Even if he had a 10 incher, for arguments sake, its gonna look more impressive hanging from Rob Burrow, than it is the giant lump that Wayne is.'"

Oh I don't know.

A ten incher hanging off Rob Burrow would be dragging along the floor.

Are you wearing Loz's red thong in that picture?

'"
Yes. And? I still think the cas game was our most complete performance. You've said nothing to make me change my mind.

Quote: J.I.M "No. Are you?'"
Yes a little. Wondering what you comment about the quality of SL was about and what relation it had to the discussion.

Quote: J.I.M "Leeds have been holding back for 3/4 of the season yet may still finish top.'"
Holding back? You're the only one using that expression. The coaching and medical staff have tailored training appropriately given the short off-season and long domestic season. How do you interpret that as "holding back"?

Quote: J.I.M "I haven't spoken to players and coaches in person, I gather you have. I wouldn't ignore that information either. But what I will ignore is what is said in the press because it is useless. '"
I haven't spoken to players but two very highly prominent club officials on two separate occasions.

I'd agree with that.

Quote: J.I.M "When analysing a performance you need to take account of the opposition.'"
I'd agree with that. Cas are a playoff calibre team who almost beat Wigan in their next league fixture.

Quote: G1 "Yes. And? '"

That is what the current leeds team is about. Not easy routs. We showed our best qualities earllier in the season. What we are doing now is adding the finishing touches, polishing it off.

Quote: G1 "I still think the cas game was our most complete performance. You've said nothing to make me change my mind.'"
Cas have a very poor recent record at headingly against the current spine of players. I mean when ewas their last victory at headingly? 2004? thrashed. 2006? thrashed 2008? thrashed and beaten with a 2nd string team 2009? thrashed.

An easy win should have been expected.

Quote: G1 "Holding back? You're the only one using that expression. The coaching and medical staff have tailored training appropriately given the short off-season and long domestic season. How do you interpret that as "holding back"? '"

Yeah you're right theres a difference. Do you think that earlier in the season we played a very basic, simple type of game?

Quote: G1 "I haven't spoken to players but two very highly prominent club officials on two separate occasions. '"

Who?

Quote: G1 "Cas are a playoff calibre team who almost beat Wigan in their next league fixture. '"

Very poor recent record at headingly though, also in poor form recently and in danger of missing out on the playoffs.
