| Let me borrow something from the end of "A Time to Kill" by John Grisham.
Close your eyes and imagine this scenario.
Leeds are playing St Helens in the cup in two weeks time. Kylie drives the ball in and is floored by a very hard tackle from Jon Wilkin. The referee calls a scrum and does not penalise Wilkin for the tackle.
Ryan Bailey is brought off the bench. He is out of control, going wild. Before play re-starts and before the scrum is formed he is in Wilkin's face, threatening him, abusing him. He's so out of control that before the scrum can pack down the referee pulls him to one side and speaks to him specifically and tries to calm him down.
Ryan won't though. He's like a mental patient and spends the next five minutes finger pointing and threatening Wilkin at every break in play. Telling him what he's going to do to him.
Now, imagine the reaction on here from fans of all teams if Bailey behaved in that manner. Just imagine it.
OK, open yours eyes. Now, think back to Friday nights game. A prop from one of the two teams behaved in exactly that manner. What reaction did it draw from fans of opposition fans? Was their widespread condemnation of the thuggish like behaviour from this player? No, there was applause. He was roundly applauded for having "sorted out" his opposite number.
Now, I have no problem with the way James graham behaved on Friday. Bailey was getting on top pf the Saints forwards and Graham came on to remedy that. He went OTT but big deal. However, the fact remains that the behaviour from white prop forward James graham was a million times worse than the behaviour of black prop forward Ryan Bailey but who gets the condemnation and who gets the plaudits?
Its' not difficult to figure out.

'" How appalling is your racism? I ask for a specific example of a Bailey incident and you provide one involving a white prop who was punished for it.
The racism is rife on here.

| Correct with all your posts Gareth, nobody seems to mention Graham coming in 3rd man into tackles for most of the game. That's the biggest softcock thing you can do in Rugby League if you ask me.

| someone has very kindly put 'St Helens v Leeds 2009 just the biff' on a well known website
- credit to Lee Smith, who despite being punched repeatedly by thuggish St Helens players, doesn't drop the ball.
- compare to Maurie, who takes one knock and drops it.

Just watched that myself, thought Smith did well to be honest and cant of thrown that many punches with one hand where as said thuggish St Helens player goes ballistic

Ablett's also got a warning letter for pretty much the same thing rlhttps://www.therfl.co.uk/about/disciplinary_item.php?id. It seems as though they're both cases of "chicken wing" tackles, which the club need to sort out as soon as possible, there's no need for things like that in our game.

There's no place for it in the game.
I dread to think what the racists would've made of it had Ryan committed either of those tackles.

| Awesome shot by Bailey, full credit now ive seen it.
Think theyll change the rules after this, like the NRL were your responsible for where your shoulder lands regardless of intent as your shoulder is judged to part of your arm over there. Which to be fair, makes sense.
