any chance one of you webmasters could put chris_leeds' squad list with contract expiry etc on the Southstander home page under game info - its a good reference point, especially later in the season when these arguments come up again!!!!!

Thanks for that Emma. Little by little you adjust to coping with your loss and my return here (I'm hoping) is a sign, to myself at least, that I'm taking a step in the right direction.

And previously when I've read you say it I've had my doubts. Not any more. You were right, generally (regards my family - rugby balance) I had it so wrong. I now realise Rugby doesn't matter one jot in the grand scheme of things.
Thanks to any other posters who have (or will) welcome me back, it is (and will be) much appreciated but I'd like to drift into the background again now. |

In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911.
