| Farke left it too late to make the changes too. He said Summerville can't play 3 games in a week though due to painkillers he's taking. Always going to be tough for Gruev to come into that game imo, he'd have been better getting half hour or so v Huddersfield at the weekend if we were a goal or two up. Gnonto was rusty as heck but he will get better. There were just too many changes imo. Having said that, if we score the Pen we win.
There's a pattern developing at corners and not defending near post in the air very well. Needs sorting,.

| Agree with all that`s been said.
Probably right to rotate the squad for a game we should be winning.
Gray lost his man a few times and give the lad credit he is filling in at RB.
If Farke doesn`t trust Ayling I can`t understand why he is wanting to give him another years contract.
The worry is if Bamford is on the pitch in place of Piroe there`s only Summerville at a push who can take a penalty.

| With the confidence Rutter is currently playing with I imagine hes got a cheeky penalty in him.

| Not sure I would be that confident in Rutter taking one.
Yes he`s scored a couple of goals in open play but he`s also fluffed far more when he can see the whites of the goalkeepers eyes.
I get why Bamford wanted to take it as he needed to rid those demons.
But in a game that was evenly balanced I personally think there was too much pressure.
Had we been 2 up then let him take it but not to decide the 3 points imo.

Agree bud.
For me we need to make sure when Piroe is not on the field we know exactly who will take pens. Summerville, Rutter, Gnonto, Bamford need to all be sorted out, they need to get well drilled with pens. Bamford needs to stay well clear unless the pressure is off. We need him to do well and get his confidence back, he can be an asset in this league. But, I think he's in last chance saloon this season. He has to start getting a goal or two.
Not sure any of the mid or James can take pens. Unsure on Jaydon Anthony also. Archie Gray perhaps also could be one? Looks to strike ball pretty well.
Huddersfield game huge now, they are poor but will raise their game for a local derby no doubt. For me Rutter needs to start at 10, his creativity will be needed to break their bus parking down.

Took the words out of my mouth Tad.
Please do not give Ayling another year.
Both him and Cooper need moving on.
I would sooner Cresswell gets on the bench instead of Cooper.
The only other negative was Messlier who nearly gave a goal away trying to get the kick away and should have caught the ball for their goal.
Other than that Kamara and Ampadu brilliant in midfield.
Shackleton, Rodon, Rutter and the 2 goal scorers excellent.

Yes 100% agree with that.
I watched the last 20 minutes of the Ipswich game and thought Davis again looked good.

| Very good performance that yesterday. Kamara excellent as were Summerville Rutter Ampadu and James. Very very good football. Took foot off gas second half which is understandable after a tough run on the road. When cooper and Ayling came on we were far less solid. Praying Rodon fit for Leicester otherwise they’ll have a field day against our back 4. Creswell has to start if not.
Anyway onwards and upwards, thought Ipswich were finally slipping up yesterday but hey ho.. they’re gunna take some catching especially if we don’t get anything from Leicester
