I think JJB hasn’t wanted to play anyone coming back who isn’t 100% as frustrating as that is i think he’s spot on, we saw with Newman what can happen bringing players back too early

I wish Sutty and Briscoe a speedy recovery as both sound like operation type injuries. We can cover them though. The young guns are stepping up! |

Yep…Sutcliffe been playing through a knee injury this season.
Our whole squad seems littered with either people out injured or playing whilst injured…a crazy state of affairs at this point of the season…I was hoping the new S&C team would get on top of this as it’s been deja vu for a few seasons now but here we still are

Don’t think much S and C can do. Mixture of bad luck and sadly injury prone players. But some of the younger ones may end up doing what Lomax has done and have a great run for many years….
We’ve been so incredibly unfortunate. I mean how many games have Walker, Newman and Holroyd played between them in last 2 years? 15? |

Bad luck and I’m not sure all the graphs, iced baths, computer generated recovery times, S and C coaches, nutritionists etc actually help the players that much at times. Gets incredibly complex. Very one dimensional too. Some if the best players who never got injured over the years had their own approach. Ben Westwood springs to mind….. |
