haha totally forgot about Ferres, depends if we are trying to match them up front or trying to be mobile, he could definitely strengthen the defence but also could be a penalty machine, you never know

I personally wouldn’t be disappointed with the above, O’Connor has been playing well in the games he’s played, wouldn’t be disappointed if he started 13 to be fair with Smith on the bench either.

I feel like we did not utilise our youngster's as much this season as certain poster's advised we would. They were only played (barring one game) in reserve type sides.

The above notwithstanding, I don't think any of them are ready to play in a play off game.

Thompson will start its between the others plus Walker for the final bench spot.

With us missing some middles like Cuthbertson and Holroyd, Ferres will get a game i think to help rotate our starting middles. Think it'd be a bit pointless having the likes of Walters or O' Connor on bench for a play off game because they wouldn't get much game time and they are more backrowers and would be a tough ask to let them play prop against a physical Catalans side that's why I think they've been left out of squad.

I would agree with that 17 although it does seem an odd move having Evans in the 21.
It might have given Walters a boost having him in the squad instead of Evans.
